Thanks to all of you, the party was a HUGE success!! We had a blast playing, laughing and visiting with you all. We also want to be sure to thank Mandi for the face painting, Urban Grind for letting us use their family-friendly space, and David Hall of Bee Positive Music for the fabulous entertainment that had your kids dancing all morning!

Kid Fest, Baby Fest, Camp Fest
Kara and I also spent a weekend at the Oregon Convention Center for this year's Kid Fest, Baby Fest, and Camp Fest. Thanks SO much to those of you who stopped by to visit with us! We had a fabulous time chatting with you and also meeting so many new families and professionals!

I was teaching a Spanish Language in Play class to K-2nd graders. I was introducing the Spanish word JUGUETES (TOYS), pronounced hoo-GET-ays.
After repeating the word a couple times, a young student piped up and said, "Me! I get them!"
hoo-GET-ayz...

I had to laugh and give her the first turn!
