Thought Spot!

A story from Christina's class:

As my students were coming into class last week, Maria announced it was her birthday, so I began singing "Feliz Cumpleaños" (Happy Birthday) to her.  When the song was over, another student (Jeremiah) proudly proclaimed
"Well, I know how to sing 'Happy Birthday' in Chinese"!
Jeremiah began singing....
"Happy birthday to you CHA, CHA, CHA!"

From Betty and Ava, Baby Sign students
"I wanted to let you know how wonderful signing with Ava has been!  A few months ago (when she was about 18mos old), Ava saw an older boy slip from his seat on the zoo train and draw blood.  For several weeks afterwards, she related the incident by signing TRAIN, HURT, TONGUE, CRY.  We were so amazed at her ability to express empathy for the boy and her capacity for memory and storytelling.  We just can't describe how happy we are that we started signing with Ava!"
You all mean the world to Kara and me.  We can't get enough of the small stories and comments you email us -- they truly inspire us!
Here's where we share some great highlights from our families.
